CAS remains dedicated to the fact that human relationships will continue to be the foundation of our business. We believe that by giving back to the schools, colleges and communites we serve, we are doing our part to improve the safety and well-being of both students and staff in our client organizations. In order to build and maintain those relationships, CAS has developed several programs to "give back" to the larger community:

  • Annie Ozella Jones Memorial Student Scholarship
This award recognizes excellence in loss control. It is presented annually based on results of the most recently completed policy year. Scholarships are intended to be awarded to a deserving student of the district or college’s choosing to assist with their continued educational interests.
  • Loss Control Grants
CAS assists clients with the purchase of safety supplies and equipment, and funds can also be used to help improve safety training programs for their employees. To see the results of this program in action, click here to read our case studies.
  • Organization and Fundraiser Donations
Funds are allotted annually for donations to fundraisers, project shows, teacher recognition events, and much more.

All donations and grants are awarded on a first-come, first-served basis beginning in January of each year. To be eligible for consideration, you must be a current CAS client. Please submit your request in writing to the address below or you may use our online form. If you would like more information regarding any of the above programs, please contact Casey Cook at (800) 765-2412.

presentation of safety grant to Socorro ISD

CAS Safety Grant presented to Socorro Independent School District

CAS recently presented Socorro ISD with a safety grant that allowed them to purchase 60 anti-fatigue mats for their Child Nutrition Services Department.

Cafeteria employees work long hours while standing. The purpose of anti-fatigue mats is to relieve stress on the body, help with alertness and productivity, correct posture, and increase blood circulation.

All SISD campuses will benefit from this grant by providing their cashiers or assistant cashiers a safe, comfortable work area.
