Workers’ Compensation

In response to the rising cost of insurance for injured employees, Claims Administrative Services, Inc. formed its workers’ compensation program, with just one school district, in 1990. Since that humble beginning, total membership in the program has grown to include 400 districts separated into three associations. As of August 31, 2003, CAS has saved our program members a total of $154,087,234 proving our total commitment to providing maximum savings to our clients.

CAS takes a proactive approach to safety and claims handling, and as a result, has established a proven track record of 40% fewer injuries and 30% lower claims costs. This has been accomplished through implementation of a distinct safety program to educate employees as well as aggressive claims handling to keep claims costs to a minimum when a claim does occur.
